NAVTEQ Announces Finalists for 2010 LBS Challenge – YOOSE is one of them!

All 12 finalists for the NAVTEQ LBS Challenge 2010 have been announced and YOOSE is one of them.

NAVTEQ, the leading global provider of digital map, traffic and location data for in-vehicle, portable, wireless and enterprise solutions, announced today the finalists of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region of the 2010 NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge. Twelve contestants have been selected to advance to Final Judging, including location-aware applications with the latest features in social networking, driving and pedestrian navigation, augmented reality, workforce management, gaming, advertising and couponing.

The EMEA regional winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Barcelona, Spain on February 14th.

NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge in Barcelona

This is great news: We are very excited about being selected to move into the final round of judging for the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge – EMEA (Europe-Middle East-Africa) region in Barcelona in February 2010. Amongst others YOOSE will show the mobile coupon campaign with Nokia Thailand and the YOOSE couponing widget for the Nokia N97.

The NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge is focused on driving the visibility and development of innovative location based solutions for wireless devices. As a finalist we are proud to be chosen for the very final round. The winners will be selected by a panel of distinguished judges: Keep your fingers crossed one more time.
